What is a domain transfer code (EPP key)?

The transfer authorization (or EPP) key is a security key generated by the current registrar and verified through the global registries for validity. These keys are updated periodically for security reasons, thus this key will be valid for an indeterminate period of time.  a transfer authorization key is required to tranfer your domain TO Macdock.com or to transfer it FROM MacDock.com to another registrar - if you domain is registered with us and you need to transfer it, submit a support ticket requesting that you key be sent to you.  The key will be sent to the admin contact email address established on the domain.
