What does EPP transfer option mean?

An EPP code is a code generated by the current registrar of a domain and provided to the domain administrator - it is a security measure to prevent the transfer of domains by unauthorized parties.

This code may change at any time depending upon registry requirements.

When an EPP transfer order is created our system will require an authorization key for each domain name is entered into our system. You must contact your current registrar for this key. This authorization key removes the need for the user to send in a fax or reply to an email to verify their transfer request. This is because these names are assigned a unique authorization key at the time of their registration. The key is created and held with your current registrar. You should be able to obtain your authorization key by contacting your current registrar.
